This is an Dark Red 11-Piece Tama Custom Drum Set with a Heavy Duty Rack System. It was a special custom order placed with Tama and each drum is serialized.
The tonal quality is the same as the newer Pro Series Tama Kits. Here is the breakdown of the kit. This kit cuts thru as it is a custom 8 ply of Birch & Basswood instead of 6 ply Mahogany. This set is similar to the Superstar Drums that replaced the Rockstar Series.
