In the spring of 1949 thousands flocked to Herford in Westphalia, Germany. In the autumn of the same year up to 30,000 people were drawn daily to the “Traberhof” in Rosenheim - a wretched host of the sick and suffering. They had only one objective: Bruno Gröning. For many, he was the last hope. Beaten down by war, given up by their doctors, these people had only one wish: to become well, free from misery and pain. Bruno Gröning would help them. And then the inconceivable happened – Süddeutsche Sonntagspost, Juni 25th, 1949: “Bruno Groening heals the lame, the blind and the mute…”
