Detailed itnerary:
DAY1: HANOI-MAICHAU-POON COONG VILLAGE
Depart from Hanoi for Maichau Mountains this morning, it’s about 150km from Hanoi to the north-west. Heading west to Hoa Binh town where famous with the biggest hydro power plan in Vietnam was built during 1979-1994 by Russian aids, we stop over here for relaxing and enjoy a local coffee.
Continue another two hours driving but there will be plenty of opportunities to see the spectacular scenery and stop for photogragh along the way. At noon, we will arrive the village, check in a house on stilt of a while Thai family, lunch will be served with some Thai traditional Thai foods.
Relax before start our easy walking tour to neighboring villages to see their daily activity of farming life. return back the village for dinner and joining a music and dancing show by the village band, before leaving the show for sleeping. You will be entertained with their home cooked rice wine. Stay overnight in poong coong village.(L/D)
DAY2: POONG COONG-HANGKIA VILLAGE-HANOI
This morning after breakfast we drive for another 35km further to the north, through the jungle, mountains with spectacular scenery, when arrive Hang kia village of the while H’mong ethnic people, start our walking around this beautiful village, stop over at some H’mong family houses where your guide would lets you know some about their very unique cultures.
Drive picks you up and continue our trip onwards Hoa binh town for lunch. From here we go straight to Hanoi. At mid afternoon we will be arrival in Hanoi, transfer to hotel, end of service.(B)

++ Travel insurance
Travel insurance is compulsory for all tours. All clients MUST be insured to cover personal accident, medical expenses, cancellation, curtailment and repatriation. It is also very important that your insurance policy is relevant to the Vietnam Pathfinder style of travel. Vietnam Pathfinder offers a specially negotiated insurance policy specifically tailored to adventure travel. As well as providing substantial cover for medical emergency, cancellation and curtailment, personal luggage, money and valuables and legal expenses, this insurance will also provide cover for the adventure activities you may choose to undertake whilst on tour.
No client will be allowed on tours without suitable insurance. If you have already arranged insurance elsewhere, please ensure that you are covered on your policy for any optional activities you may wish to join. If you plan on doing any activities which may not be covered, please purchase additional insurance.
At the start of your tour you will be asked to present your original policy document and complete an insurance information form. We recommend that you have a photocopy of this document, which you keep separate from the original.
Please note: you will not be permitted to join a Vietnam Pathfinder Tour without travel insurance.

We advise that all passengers bring along their own personal first aid kit. Below is a list of some recommended items:
Band Aids/Bandages, Laxatives, Upset stomach remedy, Anti-diarrhoea remedy, Panadol/Aspirin, Rehydration remedy, Antiseptic cream/powder, Sterile dressing, Any relevant course of medication such as contraceptive pills.
A complete Travellers Medical Pack can be purchased for approximately US$25 at most Vaccination Centres, Chemists and outdoor travel shops.
