CHEAP FABRICS a growing fabrics company located in spring hill florida seeks a talented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Data entry and processing of invoices from National and local facilities. Determine correct company coding; create batch; perform checks and balances on batch for accuracy; post batch.
Pay invoices within company-determined guidelines to avoid late charges
Process rail invoices either manually or through electronic system
Process common carrier invoices
Run analysis report and create check run on weekly basis
Enter new vendors. Follow up by sending copies of W-9 forms for company tax identification numbers
Complete all data entry and processing within deadlines for month-end balance and close procedures
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Basic to intermediate computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in use of accounting computer applications
Must be able to work well under general supervision
Good communication and customer service skills
General knowledge of bookkeeping
Basic problem solving skills, finding resolutions to questions regarding payment schedules
Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
